Author Guidelines

General requirement:

The articles received were only articles from the results of science education and/or science in general research.
Articles are written in English according to the format specified by Jurnal Pena Sains.
The author submits the journal manuscript in 2 ways, namely: 1) the article can also be sent as an email attachment to Jurnal Pena Sains(pena.sains@gmail.com) ; and 2) articles can be sent via the website Jurnal Pena Sains (http://journal.trunojoyo.ac.id/penasains/index).
The article submitted is an article that has never been published as evidenced by a written statement. The statement is attached to the article.
Articles sent have a plagiarism rate of less than and equal to 20%. Check plagiarism using Turnitin or others.

Standard Article Submission:

Articles are typed using Microsoft Word with Times New Roman letters, size 11 points. B5 paper weighs 70 grams using two columns (spasing 1, 6.5 cm column width); space of writing 1; the left border is 2.5 cm, and the right border is 1.5 cm, above 2 cm, and below 2 cm.
Each page is numbered in sequence (bottom of page).
Images and tables that accompany writing must be written in uppercase letters at the beginning, without ending the dot. The information in the table must be placed above the table, while the picture below with Times New Roman 10 letters is spaced 1, while the contents of tables and images use Times New Roman 9 spaces 1. Tables and images must be placed in the body text and meet the standards for printing.
Articles are written at least 8 pages (including images and tables).

Systematics Writing Articles Submission:

The research articles consist of: title, author's name, author's address (accompanied by email and email correspondence), abstract in English, keywords (keywords), introduction, research methods, results and discussion, conclusions and suggestions, and bibliography.
The title is written briefly, specifically, has an appeal (provocative) and informative that describes the contents of the article. The title consists of 10-12 words. The title is written in Times New Roman capital letters measuring 14 points, single space (before 6 after 12) and located in the middle without a dot.
Abstracts up to 200 words at the beginning of the article. Abstract contains a brief description of the problem and / or research objectives, methods / approaches, and research results. Abstracts written in letters Times New Roman size 10, single spaces.
Keywords: consists of 3-5 words, sorted alphabetically (Times New Roman 9 Bold).
Introduction contains a brief description of research problems, problem solving plans and research objectives written without subtitles
Research Methods explain the research design, research variables, equipment, research procedures, data collection methods, sampling techniques, process validation of research instruments, and technical data analysis.
The results of research and discussion, beginning with presenting research results in a concise manner with a review using narrative text, tables, or images.
Conclusions and suggestions, containing specific details of the results of research and discussion. Suggestions contain the main results of the study to other researchers in applying or continuing the research.
The bibliography is compiled following the APA (6th edition of the American Psychological Association) with Mendeley's reference tool. Writing bibliography using Times New Roman 11 letters, line spacing 1, justify. Bibliography without sequence numbers in the order of writing references in the text. The order of writing is the name of the author, year of publication, title or source.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

Submission has not been previously published or is under consideration of another journal (or an explanation has not been provided in comments to the editor).
Script files in OpenOffice document file format, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect.
When available, URLs for the references have been provided.
Text 1 space; font 12; italic; neither underlined (except the URL address); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the right points, not at the end.
The text to comply with the requirements of the library and style depicted in outline in the Author Guidelines, which will be found in the About Us page.
