Title

Title describes the problems expressed which written shortly, concisely and clearly, not more than 14 words, by Capital Letters, Center Text, Cambria1, 12 size - font, Bold Letters.

Author’s name Writing: 

Author written in 11 size font with bold letters.  If author more than one person, writing author: ¹Author name and ² Co Author name

It written below author or author’s name by numbering in accordance with the number of each authors name :

Abstract 

Abstract should contain short description from the whole of articles subtance. It consist of background study, legal issues, the purposes of study, research method, result, and the conclusion. It is written in italic letter, 10 size font, Times New Roman type character, single spaced. The number words of abstract between 150 up to 200 words which written in one paragraph with column.

Keywords

The keywords are written in italic letter, no more than 5 word which written in the tittle.

Type of Articles 

The articles are full-length original scientific works that consist of the research article and the opinion or conceptual article.

-          The Research Article (2500-5000 words, 1,5 line space) consists of:

 a). Introduction, b). Research Methods, c). Discussion d)., and d). Conclusions as body text, and e) Acknowledgement, and References.

-          The Opinion or Conceptual Article (2,500-5,000, 1,5 line space) consists of:

a). Introduction; b). Discussion; c). Conclusions; d). Acknowledgement; and References.

Article has accepted for publication in this journal on the understanding that the article is original and the content has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. 

1.    General Guidelines

1. Introduction

This page explains the background and purposes of the study. It is important to give a statement about its scientific novelty through previous literature review of several researchers or studies. In addition, the problems of law or legal issues related to the study are also important element of the article which should be stated clearly.

2.   Method

The research article should include a methods section which consists of approach of method, research specifications, data collection technique, and analysis methods. While, the opinion or conceptual article writing of the approach of methods should be include in the end part of introduction.

3. Discussion

In this page describes exploring of literature review, scientific findings of the study, followed by scientific discussion which written clearly and concisely. It provides suggestions for future directions of research. The explanation of research article describes scientific finding, analytical and critical writing. Whilst, the opinion or conceptual article should use the term “discussion” in systematical as needed.

4. Conclusion

Conclusion contain what concluded in article and answer of article’s problems. The of conclusion depends on the problems and should be presented briefly which in accordance with the problems of article. Therefore, if needs an appropriate advice or recommendation to be used as a basis for the next research.

5.    Acknowledgement

Acknowledgement to individuals and entities that have provided essential support such as research grants and fellowships and other sources of funding is in a separate page at the end of article.

6.       References

All of references cited in the article are also present in the references page and should be taken in footnotes. The main source of article references at least eighty percent of references should be scientific journals, which published in the last five (5) years which is each article contains at least ten references.

2.    Manuscript Format Guidelines

The articles are written in English with 2,500-5,000 words for The Opinion or Conceptual Article and for The Research Article including figures and tables with 11 point-font, Cambria 1.5 line spaced. They should be printed suitable with this template in A4 paper (210 x 297 mm), the format of left margin 30 mm, right margin 30 mm, bottom margin 30 mm, and top margin 30 mm. New paragraph begin at 10 mm from left border, while there are no space between paragraphs.  All numbers are written in Arabic numerals, except at the beginning of the sentence. Citation writing and reference style uses American Psychological Association (APA) 7 Style .

2.1.       Title: The title must shortly, concisely, clearly, not more than 14 words and show overview of the article. It is made in capital letters, center, times new roman, 12 point font of Cambria and bold. There is double line spacing throughout between the title and the author's name. The sub-title of the article is formatted as bold with Arabic numerals without underline on the sentence.

2.2.       Author Name and Affiliation: Please clearly indicate the given name(s) and family name(s) of each author. The authors' affiliation and email addresses should be write below the names in single line spacing. The authors can be more than one name. They are written in a row and separated by comma. The first author (first name) should not be abbreviated if author’s name consists of two words. If the author's name only one word, in the online version (HTML) will be written in two words that contain the same name (repeatedly) for the purposes of indexing metadata (It is intended to make communication related to the article. Contact number and email address corresponding author written on the bottom, align left, on the first page of the article.

2.3.       Abstract: It should contain a brief description of the whole of article. It consists of the introduction, legal issues, purposes of the study or research, the research methods and the results of the study or conclusions. Abstract should be written in Times New Roman, italics letters, 10 size font, and single spaced. Authors must provide an abstract between 150 up to 200 words, and it is made in one paragraph. The keywords are typed below the abstract, not more than five words and written in italic letter.

2.4.       Citations and Source References: The citations and references source which are written in the articles must be included in References. In technique of citations, there are two types of citation, direct citation and indirect citation. Direct citation should write in single-spaced and separated from the previous sentence, or included in a sentence with punctuation "......", while the indirect citation are  written in paragraph. Diponegoro Law Review uses Chicago/Turabian style with footnotes to type citations and references, that located at the bottom of the page.

There are some citation models and their examples:

2.4.1.      Citation with more than one author’s name: If there are two or three authors of the source, include their full names in the order they appear on the source. If there are more than three authors, list only the first author followed by “et al.”

2.4.3.      Citation in a chapter of book

2.4.4.      Citation in introduction, afterword, foreword or preface chapter

2.4.6.      Citation group or group of company

2.4.7.      Direct citation from citing indirect sources: When an original source is unavailable, then cite the secondhand source – for instance, a lecture in a conference proceedings. If using an unpublished address, cite only in the paper/writing. If using a published address, use a footnote with the following format.

2.4.8.      Citation from citing online sources Generally, follow the same principals of footnotes to cite online sources. Refer to the author if possible and include the URL.

2.5.       Tables and Figures

Every table and figure which included in the article should be typed the title and numbered with Arabic numerals. The title of a table is placed on the top of table, while the title of the figure is placed at the bottom of the figure. There is single spacing between the number and title with the table. The figures in the article should be printed clearly (font size, resolution and size of the line to be sure printed clearly). Figures and tables or diagrams should be placed in the text, or if their size are too large, they can be placed in the middle of the page. The tables should not contain vertical lines, while the horizontal lines are allowed in terms of importance only.

2.6.       References

Trunojoyo Law Review (TLR) uses APA 7^th Edition (American Psychological Association) models to write references. The characteristics of references with APA 7^th Edition models:

1. Publication’s year is written after the author’s name.
2. References in the body text are typed with writing the last name of author (surname) followed by the year of publication (in brackets).
3. The references writing is based on the author's last name. If a reference has no author's name, the title reference used to sort among other references which are sorted by the last name of the author.
4. The references are not collected by type of references, example books, journals etc.
5. The title of references is written in italic letters.

There are guidelines and examples of references based on APA style:

2.6.1.      Books: The last name of Author, initials. (year of publication). The title of books (Edition if there are more than one edition). Place of publication: Publisher. The title of book is written in italic letters. The authors are not more than six names. If they are more than six names, the name’s author of the seventh and the other are written as “et al”.

2.6.2.      Article of Journal: The last name of author, initials. (year of publication). The title of article. The title of journal, Volume number- if there is issue number, the beginning and last page number of the article.

Tseng, Y.C., Kuo, S.P., Lee, H.W., & Huang, C.F. (2004). Location tracking in a wireless sensor network by mobile agents and its data fusion strategies. The Computer Journal, 47(4), 448 – 460.

2.6.3.      Paper in Proceedings: The last name of author, initials. (year of publication). The title of article. In initial of the editor’s name, the last name of editor (Ed), the title of proceedings (pp the beginning page number -last page number of article). Place of publication: Publisher.

2.6.4.      Disertation/Thesis

2.6.5.      References of Websites: The last name of authors, initials. (year of document publication). The title of document. Retrieved from another website.

1. If there is no year of publication, use “n.d”
2. If there is no author’s name, use the name of organization as an author’s name.
3. If there is no author, please write the title of document.
4. If the document as a part of a big website, write the name of organization and its department followed by website address.

3.    The Manuscript Submitting Guidelines

The manuscript can be sent directly by online submission system (E-Journal Portal TLR: https://journal.trunojoyo.ac.id/trunojoyo-law-review/index. Some of the steps are:

3.1.  The author must register as author and or reviewer  (take a sign Author and or Reviewer) in  “Register” or address: https://journal.trunojoyo.ac.id/trunojoyo-law-review/login/signIn

3.2.   After login as Author, click “New Submission”. (1). Start, (2). Upload Submission, (3). Enter Metadata, (4). Upload Supplementary Files, (5). Confirmation

3.3.  Choose Start, click Journal Section (Full Article), sign all of checklist.

3.4.  In Upload Submission, upload file manuscript article in MS Word’

3.5.  In Enter Metadata, write the names of author and the affiliations, followed by the title and abstract of article and indexing keywords.

3.6.  In Upload Supplementary Files, upload supporting data or another data.

3.7.  In Confirmation, click “Finish Submission” if all of data are correct.
